Criminal Record Check policy and request
All parents who wish to help out with assisting on field trips, fund-raising activities within the school, coaching, volunteering in the child’s classroom, etc. MUST have a Police Information Check completed and on file with the school, as well as a signed ‘Reporting Criminal Charges’ form on file with the school.
How to complete your Criminal Record Check:
  • The application can be made online:  https://www.reginapolice.ca/resources/criminal-record-check/
  • The name of the Organization you are volunteering for should be Regina Public School – Harvest City Christian Academy
  • There is a processing fee of $10.00. In-person applications with the Regina Police Service are by appointment only.
  • A Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory for volunteers who will be in a position of authority over youth and vulnerable persons.
  • Volunteers are required to sign AP403 annually at the school office.
  • The Regina Police Services might request you to submit a letter from the school indicating that you are applying to volunteer at the HCCA. You can ask for that letter at the school office if needed.
  • If you reside outside of Regina, you must obtain your police information check from your local RCMP detachment or police service
